Justice sets the scales in front of you: causes are meeting effects, and a decision wants to be made on the actual facts rather than the comfortable ones. Fairness includes fairness to yourself. Weigh what happened, own your share and no more, and make the call you could defend out loud. What would you decide if you trusted the evidence you already have?
Reversed, Justice points to a tilt in the scales — a half-truth in circulation, an accountability being dodged, possibly a harshness toward yourself that no court would uphold. Imbalance persists while it goes unexamined. Start with your own ledger: name your actual part, no larger and no smaller. Clarity about your share makes everyone else's suddenly easier to see.
